哥大的轉學主文書部分，申請者需要提交400-600字的Essay來解釋自己為何要從當前的大學轉學。

Please explain why you are interested in transferring from your current institution. (The personal essay does not need to be specific to Columbia, but it should inform the committee why you wish to leave your current institution.)

為了了解申請者的學術經歷、課外活動以及個人興趣，申請者還需要回答一些特定的問題，進而讓招生官更好評估申請者的匹配度。

這個特定的問答屬于寫作補充材料，包括兩部分：3個不同字數要求的List question以3個短問答。

List question 具體內容如下：

List the titles of the required readings from academic courses that you enjoyed most during secondary/high school. (75 words or fewer)

List the titles of the books, essays, poetry, short stories or plays you read outside of academic courses that you enjoyed most during secondary/high school. (75 words or fewer)

List some resources and outlets that you enjoy, including but not limited to websites, publications,  journals, podcasts, social media accounts, lectures, museums, movies, music, or other content with which you regularly engage. (125 words or fewer) 

短問答 

3個短問答中，每個回答字數需要控制在200字內。

內容包括自己為社區做過哪些貢獻、為何選擇哥倫比亞大學、哪些經歷促使你選擇該專業。

具體內容如下：

Why are you interested in attending Columbia University? We encourage you to consider the aspect(s) that you find unique and compelling about Columbia.

Please tell us what from your current and past experiences (either academic or personal) attracts you specifically to the areas of study that you noted in the application. 

申請哥大，3月1日是提交申請和申請獎學金的截止日期；

6月1日前會公布最終結果。6月中旬是繳費截止日期，最終成績單要在6月下旬提交完畢。
